What else is out there?
My wish is to find surprises all around us and capture them with my
camera. What didn't I notice before? What is the story behind it? Did I
miss the extraordinary in something ordinary?
When I'm looking, there are always gifts - colors or light, history or a smile, a turtle swimming by. Something new to see and wonder about. Something to
inspire a question, a deep breath, or a moment of peace and reverence.
I was born and raised in Southern California, where I still reside with my husband
Mark. We raised our sons and daughter here, their sense of adventure and love
of travel a constant inspiration.
I primarily work in nature photography including landscapes and underwater images. I also love to capture people out living life. I've studied under Bryan Peterson, Kathleen Clemens, Robert LaFollette, William Yu and Jim Patterson. My work has been used by interior designers and appeared for USA Today, Fodors, BBC and AP Images. I'm thrilled when one of my photos causes someone to pause - to breathe, to reflect, to wonder, to smile.
Please enjoy.
